Job Summary:
We are mandated to hire a deliverer for a major client with the largest and most competitive metal surface treatment facilities in Quebec, providing plating processes to the automotive, aerospace, electronics, military and commercial sectors.

*** The Driver works as part of the team in providing delivery services and pick up services to Altech customers and suppliers, as required. He/she performs the tasks listed below:

- Deliver parts to customers, at different locations, as required.
- Pick up parts from customers, at different locations, as required.
- Load or unload boxes, as required, from truck.
- Count and record number of boxes or packages being delivered or picked up.
- Maintain files, records and routines needed to insure the efficient operation of the delivery and pick up services – e.g. maintains logs
- Keep truck clean inside and out
- Drive truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt.
- Receive orders in a professional manner.
- Report maintenance problems to the supervisor, VP Operations or President, as required.
- Keep in close contact with the Foreman, assuring that he/she knows location at all times.
- Follow all safety regulations and precautions.
- Wear all required and necessary personal protective equipment (e.g. steel toed boots; safety glasses).
- Help with maintenance of tuck and equipment (greasing small repairs, etc.).
- Perform other related work as required.
